Absolute hit Chardonnay from the Seckinger brothers
The Seckinger-Boys proved again this year that they are not only Riesling can. With its characteristics, the Chardonnay lens can be almost anywhere between full-bodied Burgundy and sorting fresh Jura is exactly our thing :)
Beneath the legendary Ruppertsberger Gaisböhl site in the Palatinate, the Linsenbusch site is the oldest Chardonnay Sticks of the winery. Buntsandstein, lime marl and loess in the subsoil ensure a salty and chalky aroma in the wine. Despite the aging in used barrels, the wood is hardly an issue. Pure and pithy, with perfect acidity, an ingenious one minerality and a restrained fruit. A Chardo that grabs the palate and doesn't let go so quickly. Apple and grapefruit peel, smoky minerality, salty, with Grip and power. Big cinema!
