ITS BACK! 2020 with even more power and drinking flow.
Schrammel 2.0 - Alternativ Weiß – Grüner Veltliner 2.0! The black bottle makes us think of somewhat strong, darker wines, but this is far from it: The Alternativ Weiß from Nicole and Daniel Schrammel shines rather summery-bright with aromas of hay, grain fields, honey, nuts and herbaceous spice in the fragrance. Wiry, slim, again pleasantly herbaceous and sour and despite its lightness with a small supportive portion of tannin. Nice one!
Can be caraffed at a young age and develops great over days in the refrigerator! The very beautiful ceramic bottle can be used as a water carafe, vase or anything else.
Nicole and Daniel Schrammel run a real micro winery (1ha) in the Weinviertel Austria, and work biodynamically and close to nature. And only produces Natural wine.
Description of the vinification of Daniel: Our wine production produces powerful essences with an above-average proportion of cloudyness. The batches of different harvest times (acidity in the early harvests│Structure in the late harvests) are fermented individually in glass balloons. After the fermentation process is complete and the particles settle, the naturally cloudy young wine is drawn off and combined in steel tanks for further maturation.
