Super nice bottle, super nice project, super nice wine: In their micro-winery near Vienna, Nicole and Daniel Schrammel make their wine ,on only around one hectare, as we love it: Organic, with care and without additives. The Alternativ Rot tastes relaxed in the best sense of the word! Tender little red berries (cranberry, lingonberry & Co.), positive earthy-herbaceous spice, also a mixture of nuts and tobacco in the fragrance. On the palate, relaxed, easy (but without boredom), and juicy and drinkable. Contemporary, natural red wine how we like it!
By the way, the wine should be caraffed.
The Schrammel 2.0 – Alternativ Rot comes in a very nice ceramic bottle, which can also be used as a water carafe, vase or other.
Vinification:
The maceration on the skins lasted four weeks and the resulting wine was then used without pressing the grapes. Then the further expansion in the steel tank took place for about a year. The bottle filling was deliberately made very cloudy in order to preserve the valuable ingredients and to keep the wine's original character.
