Matic – Mea Sipon PetNat 2021

Next to the Mea Rose one of our favorite PetNats, we now also have the Matic – Mea Sipon made of pure Furmint in our shop for you!

And this one flashed us again:
Lime cake on the nose with light yeasty notes and nice herbal nuances, yellow apples, pears and mild citrus fruits. Ultra creamy, a combination of quince and pear, with a nice mineral note and fresh fruit on the finish. Summer can come - we love it!

The same applies here: It is best to order several bottles, the first one is gone immediately.

This is how Matija describes the winemaking process:
Selective hand picking in the early morning. The grapes are destemmed and left on the skins for 48 hours, then pressed and transferred to steel tanks where spontaneous fermentation begins. The wine is then gravity decanted into bottles where the fermentation process continues in each individual unfiltered/untreated bottle.
