The 2022 is significantly lighter and with its 11.5% VOL even more drinkable than the 2019.

Matassa Olla Rouge - The delicious red entry into the world of Tom Lubbe with his internationally acclaimed winery Matassa. Red easy drinking with the necessary complexity. A scent of sour cherry, raspberry and forest berries exudes from the glass. The whole thing is really fun to drink, a juicy type, but not lacking in structure. The Matassa - Olla Rouge is a bit wild in the glass with a slightly tangy finish. Best to drink cool!

We had skipped 2021 because it was a bit too wild for us and tipped over too quickly. 2022 is Jucy as hell again.

Soil: Calcareous clay, red earth rich in iron.

Grape varieties:
– 70% Grenache Noir
– 10 % Grenache Gris
– 20 % Macabu

Vinification:
-Semi-Carbonic – 3 days maceration.
