Matassa – Olla Blanc 2022

The Olla Blanc offers a delicious introduction to the Orange wine world of Matassa. Tom Lubbe the head behind the Matassa winery is a real natural wine virtuoso. Especially his orange wines inspire us every year. Almost no one in Constance can do it so drinkably and deliciously except Tom. A perfect wine for anyone who wants to try orange wines.

Matassa - Olla Blanc creates a wine with fabulous 10% alcohol Muscat a Petit Grains and Macabeu to conjure up the intense scent of apricot, lime, lemon balm and ginger.
What then happens on the palate is really great for a base wine: all the notes that you already had in the nose paired with creaminess, beautiful tannin structure and amazing length. A wine you always want another glass of.

Soil: clay limestone

Grape varieties:
– 50 % Macabeux
– 25% Muscat petit grain
– 25% Alexandria

Vinification:
– Fermentation with whole bunches 10 days.
– Expansion: concrete tank
