Dark, juicy, light: Matassas Ace of Spades has a nice portion of hard rock aesthetics in the scent: campfire, smoked bacon en masse. But Tom Lubbe surprises here with the Matassa - Ace of Spades with fine blackberry (elderberry, blackberry) and floral aromas, black tea and tapenade at the same time. Pleasing lightness on the palate, also slightly wild, and with plenty of freshness. Perfect with lamb or simply sucked away on its own. The 2021 has become significantly better for us and rounder in itself.
