LA PETITE ODYSSEE – Rouge Saillant 2020

With the Rouge Saillant, Antoine once again proved that he can make wines. The blend of Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet comes from the Garonne terraces. The pebbles from the Pyrenees give it a nice minerality. The berry freshness combined with the peppery notes of Syrah makes it super drinkable

A real insider tip that you will hardly find anywhere else, since Antoine from La Petie Odyssey only produces very few bottles a year.

Grapes: 43% Syrah, 32% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Sauvignon
Vinification: Biodynamically and organically practiced with a penchant for soil protection. No heavy tillage / weeding or synthetic products in the vineyards. Local yeasts, no fining or filtering, minimal SO2 when bottling.

La Petite Odyssée Antoine is a young winemaker from the south of France. Out of conviction, he switched directly to organic and biodynamic cultivation. He grows Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah and Chardonnay, as well as Abouriou, a rare local grape variety. Further winemaker information will follow soon. cheers :)
