the wine

ZAN rot is an extremely juicy red wine. Reminiscent of “Malinovec” (raspberry liqueur).
Aromatic on the nose, with aromas of berries and raspberries, completely dry in the mouth, with nice acidity and extremely easy to drink.
A wine for every day, with only 10.5 % alcohol. So 2 bottles go too :). Best enjoyed cold.

Composition of grape varieties: Žametovka, Kraljevina, Blaufränkisch, Merlot, Welschriesling
Location of the vineyards: 15-60 years, 350 meters above sea level, N and E orientation.
Soil: slate, clay and sandstone.
Harvest: handpicked at the end of September.
Winemaking: 3 days of maceration with the addition of immediately pressed must. Spontaneous fermentation. No added yeast, no filtration. Maturation: 6 months in stainless steel barrels.
