The Schmitts have already proven that they are capable of producing classic bottle-fermented sparkling wines. As you can see with the Pinot Sekt Brute nature 2017! We were among the lucky ones and got hold of a few bottles of the Parcellas variant from 2016. The older vintage can actually do everything that the 2017 can do, only much finer :-) Light toasty aromas with attractive notes of yeast, salt lemon, apple and pear peel on the nose. On the palate, the DB Schmitt - Spätburgunder Sekt Brut natur 2016 is lively, yeasty-nutty and with fresh acidity. Pinot Noir sparkling wine as a natural wine. We love it!⁠

Pinot Blanc and Pinot Noir. Expanded in the amphora. Sparkling without dosage and additional addition of sulfur.
