5 harvests, 5 vinifications of a single Garganega Cru macerated in a single clay amphora for 6 months.
This wine is a combination of five vintages, all from one Garganega vineyard: two harvested at two different stages of maturation, the third a Garganega with 8 days of wood maceration, the fourth was a late harvest with botrytis (noble mould), the last being a fresh vintage around it to provide the necessary acidity.
The result is a very beautiful and complex orange wine with a pleasant tannin structure. One might expect a tannin bomb of its kind, but it isn't. It is more reminiscent of the structure and drinkability of Matassa. Even if compared to here Matassa working without aromas. A very special wine with great aging potential!
NEANDERTHAL should remind us that wine can be wrong.
