Staffelter Hof & Jas Swan - FooFoo

FooFoo - Gamay Noir de Moselle 2020: Jan vom Staffelterhof and Jas Swan, who works there as a guest winemaker, have conjured up a Gamay together. The grapes come from a befriended winemaker in Lorraine. Only about 800 bottles of this wine were produced. The style is that of Beaujolais: semi carbonic maceration, 1 week of mash, stainless steel and old wooden barrel.

The whole package is super drinkable and light, Beaujolais from the Moselle. But also good game as was to be expected with the two :). A little mouse is also sometimes included. Who is sensitive there better hands off.

From 2023 Jan will also have its own Gamay vineyards, we are already full of anticipation!
